What is included

Past questions of the written Automotive Maintenance Skill Registration Examination, as published by JASPA (Japan Automobile Service Promotion Association): grades 2 and 3 from October 2016 to October 2026, and grade 1 (small vehicles) from March 2017 to March 2026.

From 14 March 2027, the grade 2 and grade 3 written exams change to a single “comprehensive” (総合) exam; grade 1 changes from March 2028 at the earliest. There are no past comprehensive exam questions yet. The app re-organizes earlier past questions into the comprehensive exam's fields (engine, chassis, electronic control, equipment and basics, regulations).

Questions, choices and answers were checked against the original question papers and answer sheets. In October 2026 the developer asked JASPA in writing about offering the questions with furigana, translations and explanations in an app, and were told that permission is not required.

This app is made by an individual. It is not endorsed or supervised by JASPA.
