PawWeather Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

The short version

PawWeather collects no data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. Everything you enter stays on your phone.

Location

If you allow location access ("While Using the App"), your coordinates are sent only to the National Weather Service (api.weather.gov, a U.S. government service) to fetch the local forecast. We never store, log, or share your location, and the app works without it — you can pick a city manually instead.

Your dog's profile & settings

Names, photos, breed details, and preferences are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

PawWeather Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Purchases can be restored on the same Apple ID from Settings → Restore purchases.

Notifications

Alerts are scheduled locally on your device from the forecast already on it. No push servers are involved.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party SDKs. Its only network connection is to the National Weather Service, as described above.
