DizzyLog Privacy Policy
DizzyLog collects nothing. Your records stay on your device. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server of ours to send anything to.

What we collect
Nothing. DizzyLog has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers and no third-party SDKs that gather data. The developer never receives your records, your symptoms, your medication, your device identifiers or your location.
Where your data lives
Your attacks, durations, severities, triggers, symptoms, medication notes and reminders are stored in a database inside the app on your device. They are included in your own iPhone or iCloud device backup, which only you control. Deleting the app deletes this data. You can export everything yourself as CSV or as a PDF report at any time.
Location and air pressure
This is the one thing that leaves your device, so it is worth stating precisely.
To attach the air pressure to an attack, DizzyLog needs to know roughly where you are. Location access is "while using the app" only, and the coordinate is rounded to a grid of roughly 28 km before it is used — enough to pick the right weather area, not enough to say where you are. The rounded coordinate is sent to Apple's WeatherKit service to look up the pressure. Apple states that WeatherKit does not use this data to track or identify you; see Apple's privacy policy for their terms.
The app itself never sends or stores your location anywhere else, and never sends your records with it. You can also choose a region by hand and never grant location access at all — recording attacks does not depend on it.
Health data
DizzyLog does not read from or write to Apple Health. What you record here stays inside this app.
Purchases
The one-time Pro unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. DizzyLog only asks Apple whether this Apple ID owns the unlock. Payment details are handled by Apple and are never visible to the app or the developer.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. DizzyLog has no push server and no push token — nothing about your reminders leaves your iPhone.
Children
DizzyLog is a general-audience journaling app rated 4+. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Not a medical device
DizzyLog records what you tell it. It does not diagnose, does not predict attacks and does not give treatment advice. Talk to a doctor about your symptoms.
This website
This website (not the app) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and collects no personally identifiable information. The app itself still sends nothing.
